re: new songs for memorial.

The new songs, all, are crap; all sound horrible and the music is not enticing at all.
There are a couple that the music sounds like a melodic tango or a Jamaican tune to be enjoyed at the beach with a piña colada drink.
What is the freaking point? Crap, crap, crap!

i have seen a few posts here, in various guises, in relation to whether watchtower is in decline.
plenty of people respond, but it is all fairly anecdotal, or "gut feel".
some of it has been wishful thinking.. as of late 2015, watchtower's numbers suggest it is still growing marginally, but there are various anecdotes on this site of publishers typically being older, and younger ones disappearing.
It is growing tremendously in 3rd world lands, I mean, African continent, the Caribbean islands, etc.
There are personality types that are attracted to the structured life of an Org like the WTBTS. Now, of course, they have the campaign of baptism at a young age and also visiting/recruiting at nursing homes.
The numbers, albeit slowly, will continue to grow.

can anybody answer this for me?.
whenever i tell people i'm ex jehovahs witnesses, they always assume that i'm against the jehovahs witnesses, but i am more so against the watchtower then anything.people assume that i'm anti-jehovahs witness, but now that i've done more research i've realized that its the watchtower thats more harmful then the jehovahs witnesses, even though theres a lot of jehovahs witnesses i dont like, i'm not against jehovahs witnesses as a group.. can anyone explain this to me?.
Watchtower is the mother Organization.

this a question more out of curiosity, because we have not stepped foot in a kh in 3 years.. how is the attendance at the meetings/assemblies?
i know the answer will vary due to location.. are you (especially elders) receiving any notification or communication from bethel or co's that there is an upsurge of people that are simply disappearing or out right dis associating?.

For many of us inside, the 'alternative' is not pretty either, so we will stick with what we know. There is this crazy Spanish saying that goes something like "better a bad one you know than a good one you have to get to know" (mejor un malo conocido que un bueno por conocer).
JWs are a nice, peaceful, happy, harmless bunch for the most part. So....... let the band play on.

The Spanish JWs in my area are clueless and careless about the overlapping gen crap. Most are in it for the community/association. When it comes to prophesy and anything the least bit complicated, their eyes glaze over. 🤔

a hilarious stupid wa message is being circulated amongst jws in my area / country.. i had a hearty laugh at the ignorance and stupidity and brainwashed mentality, different people may express different emotions so you have been warned.
day one after armageddon it seems ages since we last heard the gunshots and screams, today has been really quiet.

Spanish congs are still lively in the sense that we are always celebrating something. Every weekend, for real! When it gets quiet, we do gatherings at parks and dinner parties for no other reason than just eat, play games and dance.
Hell, it helps pass the time.

The attendance at our Spanish congs has gone down. The young people are not into it at all; they are busy with their studies and totally aloof about Org stuff.

I no longer pray. Have not in years; only bow my head out of respect at the KH and sometimes say the customary 'amen'.
Does he not know all things? Why do we have to ask for anything in prayer, or even mention anyone's name?! Silly, useless. His answer is usually "No", so why even bother?!
What is this 'sick' need for these all knowing, all encompassing, all powerful deities to be worshipped in anyway by us lowly grasshoppers?!
